BOOKING LESSONS

Lessons places are only reserved with payment and a completed registration form.

We require payment for the full term in advance of the lessons starting. Payment is made by bank transfer. If there is enough time before the start of the lessons, we can offer payment plans.

Group Child Only Lessons are currently £15 for each 30 minutes session, please note this is subject to change for different terms.

We are unable to offer discounts for siblings.

We reserve the right to withdraw lessons at any time.

REFUNDS

We have a strict no refund policy.

If you do cancel the lessons please note the following:

No refunds for cancelled lessons will be issued after 2 weeks notice prior to the start of term.

If you cancel more than 2 weeks before the term starts, we will refund 100% of the course fees, less £20 administration fee.

If you cancel within 14 days of the start date of the course, no refund will be issued.

Refunds for medical emergencies.

We understand medical emergencies happen from time to time and therefore would advise that we can offer a 50% refund upon provision of a doctors note or hospital letter, at our discretion.

As we have already made provision for your child we can only offer 50% refund due to the financial commitments made on your behalf for the impending term and would not be able to use the space for another swimmer.

Alternatively, you could transfer credits to the following term.

CANCELLED LESSONS BY US ARE NOT REFUNDED - PLEASE READ

We do not cancel lessons unless it is absolutely essential.

However, sometimes as we hire the facilities to provide lessons, we may be advised we cannot us the pool. This is beyond our control.

We will give as much notice as possible, but at times there may be no time to give you notice.

We would strongly recommend you follow our social media Facebook page and Instagram for updates.

We also email from Mailchimp and would ask that you subscribe and ensure our email address is added to your approved list, to avoid not seeing emails in your spam/junk folders.

In the unfortunate event we do need to cancel a lesson, we will endeavour to offer make up lessons where possible.

This may be an alternative day and time to your child's existing lesson, however, we will ask that you attend on of the alternatives offered as we cannot offer refunds.

Refunds & Cancelled Lessons Policy

1. Lessons cancelled by the swim school
If a lesson is cancelled by the swim school due to circumstances outside of our control (including pool closures, maintenance issues, or safety concerns), the lesson will be credited on a lesson-for-lesson basis.

Credits are recorded as lessons, not monetary value, and will be honoured through:
- make-up lessons where space allows, or
- roll-forward to future terms.

No paid lessons will be lost.

2. Use of lesson credits
- Credits may be used for make-up lessons subject to availability and class capacity.
- To ensure fairness and safe class sizes, swimmers may use a maximum of one make-up lesson per week.
- Credits do not guarantee a specific day, time, or teacher.
- Make-up lessons may take place within existing classes or scheduled make-up sessions.

3. Refunds
Refunds are not offered for lessons cancelled due to circumstances outside of the swim school’s control, including pool closures. This policy ensures the long-term sustainability of the swim school so that lessons can continue for all families.

4. Price changes
Lesson credits are tracked by number of lessons, not by monetary value. Credits remain valid regardless of changes to lesson pricing between terms.

5. Lessons missed by the swimmer
Lessons missed due to illness, holidays, or personal reasons are not refundable. Where possible and subject to availability, make-up lessons may be offered at the discretion of the swim school.

6. Policy fairness
This policy applies equally to all families and is designed to ensure lessons are delivered safely, fairly, and sustainably.
